Let your career take flight! Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre is hosting an Industry Day on March 23 from 12:00pm - 4:00pm.
Airlines and industry representatives will be at WWFC to speak with our students and clients to provide insight on their recruitment process. This is a great networking opportunity for those who want to learn more about working for an airline or within the industry. Students and Clients will be able to choose from a variety of airline/industry sessions where representatives will be on hand to talk more about the opportunities available, how to make your resume stand out, and much more!
The following partners have confirmed their participation:
Presentation registration is now full. You can still visit the exhibits in the hangar throughout the afternoon.
We are thrilled to once again host our annual Girls Can Fly event on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10:00am to 4:00pm!
This FREE educational event promotes women in aviation and offers free flights for girls aged 8 to 18 years. All are welcome - flight or not! This event will run rain or shine (flights are weather-permitted). Last year, WWFC hosted over 1,500 attendees and provided free flights to over 300 potential future female pilots!
The event also features exhibitors from the industry who provide an interactive and engaging experience for attendees of all ages. The event was established to promote the aviation industry to girls and young women. The representation of women in the aviation industry has changed over the years, but there is still a long way to go and WWFC continues to support this important initiative.
More information will be available in March, including exhibitor and attendee information, flight registration information and sign-up forms for volunteers to help during this fun event! Stay tuned!
Our Annual Golf Tournament is back! It’s taking place on June 15, 2023 at the beautiful and challenging Springfield Golf & Country Club in Guelph.
We’re looking for sponsors and donations to help make this event a success. This tournament raises funds for student pilots through the LIFT Scholarship Fund, allowing us to make flight training more accessible to students. We would love to add experience donations, gift certificates, and product donations to the event. Monetary donations are also appreciated!

Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) offers Post-secondary Program Information Sessions, once a month throughout the school calendar year.
These information sessions are designed to provide potential students with information on the program design – suggestions on how to be successful in the program, the financial challenges and banking information, along with aviation industry information.
The presentation has been developed based on past questions from parents, students, and program observations. These sessions are meant to assist students in collecting the information needed to make their best personal decision based on their interests and career expectations.
All information sessions are held virtually from 10:00am-12:00pm and are free to attend.
