Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) offers Post-secondary Program Information Sessions, once a month throughout the school calendar year.
These information sessions are designed to provide potential students with information on the program design – suggestions on how to be successful in the program, the financial challenges, and banking information, along with aviation industry information.
The presentation has been developed based on past questions from parents, students, and program observations. These sessions are meant to assist students in collecting the information needed to make their best personal decision based on their interests and career expectations.
All information sessions are held virtually Monday evenings from 5:30pm - 7:00pm (EST) and are free to attend.
We are thrilled to once again host our annual Girls Can Fly event on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 9:00am to 4:00pm!
This FREE educational event promotes women in aviation and offers free flights for girls aged 8 to 18 years. All are welcome - flight or not! This event will run rain or shine (flights are weather-permitted). Last year, WWFC hosted over 1,500 attendees and provided free flights to over 300 potential future female pilots!
The event also features exhibitors from the industry who provide an interactive and engaging experience for attendees of all ages. The event was established to promote the aviation industry to girls and young women. The representation of women in the aviation industry has changed over the years, but there is still a long way to go and WWFC continues to support this important initiative.
FLIGHT REGISTRATION IS NOW FULL.
