Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) offers Aviation Program Information Sessions, once a month throughout the school calendar year.
These information sessions are designed to provide potential students with information on the program design – suggestions on how to be successful in the program, the financial challenges, and banking information, along with aviation industry information.
All information sessions are held virtually on Monday (2025) or Wednesday (2026) evenings and are free to attend.
OSCA CONFERENCE
WWFC is excited to exhibit at the Ontario School Counsellors' Association (OSCA) Conference on November 9–10 at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale!
This event brings together 400+ Guidance and Career Educators for valuable networking and learning. WWFC will be on-site to showcase our programs and highlight aviation as a career path, ensuring counselors and educators know that becoming a pilot is an achievable option.
ATAC Conference
We’re excited to attend the ATAC Canadian Aviation Conference and Tradeshow, taking place November 18–20, 2025 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, QC.
WWFC will be onsite alongside our partners at Flightdeck Solutions, showcasing a simulator and sharing information about our new Aviation Sim Centre and Innovation Hub — designed to support advanced training and collaboration with our airline partners.
ATAC’s Canadian Aviation Conference and Tradeshow is the premier national gathering for operators, suppliers, and government stakeholders involved in commercial aviation and flight training across Canada — an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and shape the future of aviation together.

GIRLS CAN FLY
Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) is delighted to announce the return of our annual Girls Can Fly event on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at our location at the Region of Waterloo International Airport.
Join us for this FREE educational experience, featuring aircraft of all sizes, flight simulators, and our amazing industry partners engaging attendees of all ages.
Girls Can Fly aims to inspire young women and girls about the exciting opportunities in the aviation industry. This event is open to everyone, rain or shine!
We're also offering complimentary flights for girls aged 8 to 18 years, with limited pre-registration required. (registration opens in April).
Last year, WWFC welcomed over 2,000 attendees and provided free flights to more than 300 potential future female pilots. Join us for another unforgettable event!

The WWFC Wings Banquet is happening on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Bingemans in Kitchener!
The Wings Banquet gala is dedicated to celebrating the incredible achievements of our 2024 student pilots. During the evening, we’ll also celebrate our scholarship recipients, award winners, and top-performing students, recognizing their hard work and commitment to aviation excellence.
Before dinner, we’re hosting a 2-hour networking event with our airline partners—a fantastic opportunity to connect and explore career paths.

LET YOUR CAREER TAKE FLIGHT!
Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre is hosting an Industry Day on April 10th!
Airlines and industry representatives will be at WWFC to speak with our students and clients to provide insight into their recruitment process. This is a great networking opportunity to learn more about working for an airline or within the industry. Students and Clients can choose from various airline/industry sessions where representatives will be on hand to speak about the opportunities available, how to make your resume stand out, and much more!
The event takes place on April 10th at WWFC from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm in the main hangar. Presentations will be held in Classroom 2/3 throughout the afternoon. No sign up is required, it will be first come, first serve.
