Trailblazers: Our commitment to women in aviation

Paving the runway for future female pilots!

Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre is sincerely committed to the ongoing development and promotion of trailblazing female pilots. We encourage and advocate for all women pursing aviation as a career, and work to make the landscape open and welcoming to all.

Our greatest dream is that women will dominate the skies, and be a vital part in the exciting and adventurous community of aviation professionals.

Amelia Earhart said it best when she proclaimed,

“Never interrupt someone doing what you said couldn’t be done”

We proudly partner with The Northern Lights Award Foundation. Find out how you can support their work to inspire women to enter and succeed in the aviation industry.

Our annual celebration of International Women’s Day! Join us for this full-day event dedicated to women of all ages who dream of becoming a pilot.

The Ninety-Nines is an international organization of women pilots that promotes advancement of aviation through education, scholarships, mutual support, and sharing their passion for flight.

Watch for our work in your local newspaper or on TV. We work hard to spread the word about our amazing women and love to see others inspired by their work.
